Our curriculum covers everything: intervals, diads, triads, chords, scales, modes, exercises. The course is based on elemental music theory principles and uses modes as the main tool to reveal a master pattern that opens up the entire fretboard. The course presents a series of basic concepts that build on one another in a logical order.

Meet Your Instructor

Thomas Gilberts, MD

Dr. Gilberts has been playing guitar for nearly 50 years. He is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist and plays guitar, bass and cello. He has written 6 albums to critic acclaim.

He has studied under Terry Robb, Steve Willis, Dan Balmer, Tony Gaglio, and Chris Woitach.

He is a published scientist and practicing physician. This is brought to bear in this study, as he distills nearly 5 decades of experience into a series of laser-focussed lessons.
